After being in the ministry for 20 years, Pastor Anthony Ventola and his wife Patricia established Agape Worship Center in 1996 with a handful of parishioners. Their services were held in a small church in Clifton that they rented on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
Within two years the church grew and they were able to purchase and renovate their own church building. Now in their twelfth year, they are a thriving church in Bloomfield, NJ, reaching out to the inner-city as well as the local suburbs.
There are many ministries in the church, which include Men of Vision, Heart to Heart Women’s Ministry, Sold Out Youth Ministry, and Home Bible Studies. In September of 2000 Vision Bible Institute was started as an affiliate campus of Vision International University.

Their church services can be seen locally on various cable television stations in Northern and Central New Jersey in over 100 cities.
